Can't wait to see her face when we unveil her present in the morning. Can't wait to put a single candle in her pancake. Can't wait to see her in her Birthday dress. Can't wait to see family gathered together just for her. Can't wait to see her eat cake. Can't wait to celebrate. Can't wait.
I've definitely been feeling a twinge of pain at the thought of her being one, but that's all cancelled out by the happiness in my heart.

A flood of memories from that day - one year ago tomorrow - has been swarming me. I'm sure anyone who is a parent can agree, there are just no adequate words for what a child means.
Since words are failing me - I'll leave you with her sweet face.
...and feet.
So her first year ends - and a new begins.
