Doubt

There seems to be a constant flow of things that "need" to be done. And it is so easy to get lost among the scribbles on the endless to-do list. I try to keep up with it all - do a few things each day - but never seem to catch up with myself.

It doesn't help that I'm easily distracted -

It's going to get a bit more challenging. And I'm getting nervous. After taking the last year off, I will be going back to school part-time in the fall. It has been just over a year since I took my last final. Then, classes seemed so easy. We had a baby on the way and I had plans to take just one semester off - to enjoy being a mama. Those plans were pushed back because I went back to work full-time right around the time winter semester began and wasn't ready to add school to the workload.

I hope I can keep it together, but I'm terrified. Being a mama and wife is my first priority. I feel conflicted - I'm worried that I will miss out on so much but know that doing this will make me a better mother and wife in the long-run. Also, there's this little voice that keeps reminding me how easy it was before. Yes, there will be challenging times. But I'm a little annoyed with myself for constantly doubting that I can handle it.

If this mama can survive pushing through 3 hours of the most horrible pain imaginable - I'm pretty sure a few little class credits can't keep me down. Bring it.

Now, go away doubt. I'm trying to enjoy summer with the most amazing girl ever...

...and you, doubt, are not invited.
